MK United is a Select program within the Milwaukee Kickers, administered by the Mukwonago Area Soccer Club (MASC). Players on MK United teams come from Mukwonago, Muskego, Big Bend, Dousman, Wind Lake, Franklin, New Berlin, Eagle, and all points in-between. MK United was developed to create a competitive level soccer program at an affordable price, with teams at all Select Level ages, U11 through High School, for both boys and girls. Not only do our players compete in league play, they also participate in many local and regional tournaments. Coaches are trained and licensed for appropriate age levels. They receive continuing education and have opportunities to learn from a variety of national and international coaches. Staff coaches work with team coaches for increased player development. MK United utilizes the full resources of the Milwaukee Kickers, which includes exclusive training and player development camps run by the Kicker coaching staff. Starting in 2011, MK United teams will practice at the best location for the majority of players on the team. This might mean splitting practices between two different locations, but it could well mean holding all practices in one location. Exact practice locations for a team will be determined after tryouts, but before offers go out to all players. All home games will be played at Miniwaukan Park in Mukwonago. Mukwonago Fields Most Mukwonago club-wide sessions (tryouts, camps, etc) are held at Miniwaukan Park, 500 McKenzie Road; Mukwonago, WI 53149. At times teams use Park View Middle School as an alternate practice site. Muskego Fields For spring 2011, most teams are still using Muskego fields for home games and practices. U11-U12 play half their home games at Denoon Park, W216 S10798 Crowbar Drive; Muskego, WI 53150. Older teams play their Muskego home games at Manchester Hill Park.. |
